One Little Thing: The Cadillac Café in Portland, Oregon

One Little Thing is a new series of posts that I am trying out where I write a short post highlighting one place, experience, or product from my travels. I want to be able to talk about things that I like that I maybe haven’t been able to work into a post in another way. Plus I’m lazy and I like short posts. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

If you are looking for a great place to eat breakfast in Portland, Oregon, look no further than the Cadillac Café.

Hands down, this is where I had the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant, before or since. When my boyfriend and I went to Portland for a few days in February, we ate here two of the three mornings we were there, it was that good.

Something else that I thought was cool about this restaurant is the pink 1961 convertible Cadillac that they have on display, which gives the restaurant a bit of a retro feel.

If you go, make sure you try the French Custard Toast. And the Cadillac Potatoes. And this egg scramble that I got, which I think was called “Henry’s North American.”

Drooling just thinking back on this breakfast tbh

Honestly, I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with anything that you try there. Next time you are in Portland, give the Cadillac Café a chance. I know I will definitely be eating there next time I am in town.

Have you ever been to Portland? What’s your favorite restaurant there?
